Hot on the heels of Studio Barnhus’ strongest year yet, the Stockholm-based collective jump-starts the NUET season with a long-awaited Studio Barnhus Dance Party at Berns on February 25. An all-star lineup will be taking over this legendary venue across two dance floors, with the label’s founding DJ trio as well as some of its most prominent signees all rising to the occasion.

Take Bella Boo for example – the long-time veteran of the Swedish underground who’s solidified her international DJ maverick status after a string of celebrated releases on Studio Barnhus, as well as smashing clubs like Berghain / Panorama Bar [Group] and Phonox to pieces. With new high-octane dance floor material ready for release on her home label, Bella Boo at Berns is not to be missed.

Neither is Sofia Kourtesis, the Berlin-based Peruvian DJ and producer who’s shot to superstar status since her debut on Studio Barnhus in 2019. She’ll be joining her Stockholm fam on February 25 for one of her mind-bending, hip-moving DJ sets.

Shakarchi & Stranéus were Studio Barnhus’ first signees back in 2010 – the esteemed Gothenburg house duo’s set will surely include sneak peeks of their upcoming music for the label – sounding fresher than ever, with that classic Shak ‘n Stran magic glowing infinitely bright.

The label’s latest signees are Ari Bald & CJ Scott – beloved local DJ heroes, undeniable masters of euphoric disco loops and thumping house grooves, debut Studio Barnhus EP ready to burst into the stratosphere.

Tying it all together, celebrating a 12
month run which has seen them rounding up successes individually as well as a group, are Axel Boman, Kornél Kovács and Pedrodollar – DJ trio, best friends, proud daddies of Studio Barnhus. It’s been a good minute since they played together in Stockholm and it’s a scientific fact that they always bring their A game to a Studio Barnhus Dance Party. You know what to do!
